Lower center of gravity stops the shaking

After our last tree literally snapped at the base because of my 18lb cat’s ‘zoomies,’ I was hunting for something with a lower center of gravity. This Globlazer model is fantastic. The 65×45 cm base is wide and heavy, making it extremely stable even on our thick carpet. I didn’t even have to anchor it to the wall. The top perch is supported by five posts, which is way more secure than those single-pole perches that always lean. My cats particularly love the two metal-frame baskets on the sides; they look thin but are actually quite rigid and hold a lot of weight.
