I really enjoyed the building process of this cat tree. just takes a little time, some of your attention and some patients. i have to say that the cushion for the top of the cat tree that is velcroed to the inside of the upper post , my cat disliked it. I had to remove it which left the bottom exposed to the velcro tabs that the cushion was suppose attach to. the cushion is meant to either come on or off at your disposal but for some reason my cat just would not sit on the cushion. but cats are fickle like that.. nevertheless the cat tower turned out after assembly to be such a new and sturdy structure for my apartment. but i do need to mention i had a 67 inch cat tower before this and the cat loved it so much but the thing was falling apart so i choose to buy this one and i am glad i did .. but now, cats being creatures of habit they don’t really approve of new and inviting things i am sure the new cat tower will grow on him and he will begin to like it. but that’s the only thing i noticed wrong with this situation. i hope he opens up to the new cat tower and begins to like it as much as his old one. but its a cat for christmas sake. now onto the test of time on this structure and we’ll see if it was worth the money.
