Assembly was pretty straightforward, even though the instructions were just okay. The 51 inch height is perfect—tall enough for them to feel high up but not so tall it's tippy. The scratching boards on the bottom are a nice touch, my cats actually use them instead of the couch now....

okay so i have three cats and they all fight over the top platform. the scratching boards are a lifesaver. i was worried it would be hard to put together because i'm not handy at all but it was fine. it's super sturdy and doesnt shake when they zoom up...

honestly didn't expect much for the price but wow. the dark grey looks so good in my living room and isn't an eyesore. my tabby literally hasn't left the hammock since i put it together. took me like 30 mins to build solo. highly recommend if u have a spoiled...
