Globlazer 52″ Multi-Level Cat Tree Tower with Extra Large Platform and Scratching Posts, Light Grey

The double baskets on the sides are the favorite spot in our house. Usually, my two Maine Coon mixes fight over space, but having one for each is perfect. The dark grey looks sophisticated in the living room and doesn't show dirt easily. Stability is much better than our last pet store tree.

This thing is a tank. The box arrived weighing over 40 lbs, so I knew it wasn't going to be flimsy. Putting it together was a two-person job for us, mostly just to hold the larger pieces in place while the other person screwed them in. The double-door condo is a hit because our cats like to chase each other through it. I love the fact that the top cushion is removable for washing; it makes keeping the cat area clean so much easier. The height is perfect for placing in front of a window. We are very happy with the dark grey aesthetic.

The S52E-LG is a fantastic design for multi-cat households. The two hanging baskets are reinforced with metal frames so they don't sag under the weight of my chunky cats. My only complaint was a small hiccup during assembly—one of the M8 screws wouldn't catch the threading on a post, so I had to swap it with another one. It took some patience to get the ramp angled correctly, but once tightened, it’s very secure. The top platform is massive and the removable padding makes cleaning up hairballs a lot easier than our old tree.

After our last tree literally snapped at the base when our 18lb ginger cat leaped onto it, I was looking for something with a lower center of gravity. This Globlazer model is much wider at the bottom (65x45 cm) which makes a huge difference in stability. It doesn't lean at all, even on our thick plush carpet. The assembly took me about an hour, and I'd recommend using your own hex key if you have one, but the provided tools work fine. The light grey fabric is a nice neutral tone that blends into our decor.

I bought this specifically for my kitten and my 12-year-old senior cat. The ground ramp is a lifesaver for the older boy's joints, while the kitten loves the high-up baskets. The construction is very deliberate; the industrial paper tubes are dense and didn't have any chemical smell out of the box. The wide-sprawl base means no wall anchors were needed, which is a plus for renters. Even when the kitten is doing parkour off the sisal posts, the top perch barely moves. It's definitely a heavy piece of furniture that feels like it will last years.
