    Specifications

For the cat who has outgrown her first tree

    • Large cats & Maine Coons · Multi-cat homes · Five-post support

The first tree was enough when she was smaller. Now she lands and the whole thing moves. On the top bed, her back feet hang off. If you have two cats, one takes the high bed. The other waits.

This tower is 83 inches tall. The base is as wide as the shipping box allows. A fifth post stands in the center. Two condos, four basket hammocks, and a long top bed sit on both sides, so the way up stays open.

    How the cat lives here

    • When she leaps, the room stays still

Four outside posts leave a wide empty gap in the middle of a tall tree. The S83J puts a fifth post right through the center, so the frame does not twist when heavy cats jump and land.

    • Her back feet stay on the bed, and the pad washes clean

Standard perches are built for kittens. This 24 × 16-inch (60 × 40 cm) top bed gives large adult cats room to stretch out without falling off the edge, with a soft plush cushion that unzips to wash.

    • Nine spots to choose from, with washable cushions inside

Two private condos, four deep basket hammocks, two side perches, and the top bed give multiple cats nine spots of their own. Each condo includes a removable, washable soft pad for easy cleaning.

    • Two ways in, braced right against the floor

Two sisal ramps come all the way down to the floor on opposite sides. They widen the base to 38 inches to prevent tipping, and give older cats a gentle walk up instead of a hard jump.

    • Sisal on every climb, not on the sofa

Cats scratch where they climb. We wrapped 15 posts and both floor ramps in natural sisal, giving them rich, full-stretch scratching surfaces across every level of the tree.

Use the numbered S83J manual on this page. Hardware and an Allen wrench are in the box; you do not need your own tools. A step ladder helps on a tall tree. Follow the numbered steps, then finish the final tightening only after every floor-contact point sits flat. See assembly
