came with missing parts and the box was crushed. had to go to the hardware store to get screws that fit because i didnt want to wait for a return.

Use the assembly instructions on this page. Hardware and an Allen wrench are in the box; you do not need your own tools. A step ladder helps on a tall tree. Follow the numbered steps, then finish the final tightening only after every floor-contact point sits flat. See assembly
When a matching part exists, replace the worn post or hammock without discarding the tree. Contact Support with your order number and the part you need.
